I n the south east of Austria, the stunning city of Graz boasts a perfectly preserved city centre showcasing a wide variety of architectural styles and influences. A wooded hill, the Schlossberg, dominates the centre of the Old Town and offers fantastic views over the city’s red roofs, whilst visitors can also explore a broad choice of museums and art galleries. Graz’s train station is a couple of kilometres to the west of the city centre, but is well served by the local tram service and provides rail connections to the rest of Austria.
