Zell am See Holidays by Rail

Z ell am See is one of Austria’s major tourist hotspots, with visitors drawn to the beautiful Lake Zell and the surrounding mountains. In the winter, adrenaline junkies can get their fix on the area’s great ski slopes, whilst in the summer the Alpine woods and meadows provide fantastic hiking. For those of a less energetic persuasion, Lake Zell provides more gentle entertainment, with lakeside walks and boat trips available. The town’s train station is very centrally located and provides quick connections to cities across Europe including Salzburg, Munich, and Innsbruck.
