Traversing the Kicking Horse Pass, this route is the original Rocky Mountaineer route, and is now the only commercial train over this world-famous route. Departures in either direction run three times per week from April to October and the full journey takes two days, with a stop overnight in Kamloops included.
JOURNEY TO THE CLOUDS: Jasper to Vancouver or vice-versa

This route used to be known as the Yellowhead, taken from the name of the pass it crosses through the Rockies. You travel through the second and later of the two transcontinental Canadian railways. It is the same route taken by the national carrier VIA Rail on its Toronto to Vancouver train.
RAINFOREST TO GOLDRUSH: Vancouver to Jasper via Whistler & Quesnel

This trip focuses on off-the-beaten-track highlights. You travel alongside the Fraser River on the Pacific Great Eastern Railway. The route is spectacular, particularly on the Fraser Canyon where you may see bears, bald eagles and ospreys. It runs every week from April to October and takes three full days with overnight stops in Whistler and Quesnel.
