C eský Krumlov is a small but beautiful city near the southern border of the Czech Republic. With much of the city and its castle dating from the 13th century, Český Krumlov is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is increasingly popular with visitors drawn to its natural and historic beauty. The city also benefits from its proximity to Sumava, the country’s largest national park, which offers wonderful excursions for hikers, bikers and anyone interested in exploring the the stunning scenery of the region. The city has a direct rail link to Prague via the small station just to the north of the city centre.
